We are pleased to announce our successful application to The Luke Cory Trust, which will allow families affected by DBA to have a free holiday at their caravan at Bunn Leisure Holiday Park which is on the south coast of the UK, in between Portsmouth and Bognor Regis. Chichester hospital is not far away should any medical needs arise.
The Trust was set up in Luke Cory’s honour, so that children facing life threatening illnesses could make some valuable memories with their families at this lovely holiday home.
The caravan has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6, and is situated on the quieter White Horse Holiday village site. It is not near the main club house and is down a quiet road, with a lawn to the rear of the caravan offering lovely views of the stream and plenty of shade. The caravan is fully equipped with games, bedding, microwave, TV, DVD player and Freeview box. There is also a raised decking terrace to the side, with table and chairs and a BBQ should you choose to enjoy cooking outside.
This site has its own outdoor pool, amusement arcade, shop, pub and club house, while the main site with its indoor pool and other facilities can be easily accessed via the regular buses or train that run from the end of the road.
If you would like to apply for some time at the caravan, DBA UK has some set dates put aside for us, please contact DBA UK Chair Leisa Batkin to check dates and arrange a booking.
We hope you’ll join us in extending them a huge thanks for this fantastic opportunity.
