When Alba was diagnosed with Diamond Blackfan anaemia syndrome, it started a journey that would involve the whole family and would go on to give her five-year-old brother Archie a pivotal role. Having been identified as a 10 out of 10 match, Archie will soon give his sister her most important gift yet – the gift of his bone marrow. His parents, Fae and Greg, share what this means for the family and how they are preparing both Alba (aged three) and Archie for what lies ahead as they embark on a sibling-to-sibling bone marrow transplant.
