How to Use This Page

Below you’ll find various branding and graphic resources to download, as well as guidelines on how to use them correctly.

It’s important that the charity’s brand usage guidelines are respected, as they help to ensure that communications and fundraising material, both online and in print, remains of a consistent identity and good standard

Typography

Font

DBAS UK’s branding uses a font called “Poppins”. 

This is a freely available font from Google. You can download it from our website and install on your device to use in your fundraising and communication efforts 

Style Guielines

  • Poppins must only be used in sentence format or all lowercase.
  • You should never have a headline in all capitals when using Poppins
  • Do not use italics

Usage Guidelines:

WHAT NOT TO DO!

Do not change the font of the logo.

Do not stretch, crop or otherwise distort the logo to make it fit a given space. 

Do not apply colour to the logo. It is fine to use it on a coloured background.

Do not place the logo on a colour that is too close in tone. (Use the supplied “dark” version of the logo here instead)

Do not rotate or angle the logo.

Do not outline / keyline the logo

Logo Downloads

There are a 4 different variations of the logo, to suit a variety of usage applications:
 
  • Logo with strapline
  • Logo without strapline
 
  • Dark version, with strapline
  • Dark version, without strapline
These are for use on dark backgrounds
 
Use the version with the strapline (that’s with “THE UK’S DIAMOND BLACKFAN ANAEMIA SYNDROME CHARITY text underneath) for posters, letterheads etc. This is the main version of the logo, to be used wherever Possible
 
Use the version without text any time it’s going to be used quite small, and the text would be too small to comfortably read.
 
The ZIP file below contains 4 logo variations in hi-resolution .PNG format on a transparent background. These are suitable for a wide variety of applications and compatible with all computer programs.

Professional Use Logos

For large format printing, posters, banners, garments etc, you might be asked for a copy of the logo in vector format.
 
Some “regular” programmes or applications on your computer might not be able to open files of this type.

Graphic Device

The genetic device reflects DBAS’ recognition as a genetic syndrome which has a wide range of implications beyond haematology. 

It can be used as a border, divider or watermark in your communications and outreach efforts.

Please Note: If using as a watermark, we recommend no greater than 10-15% opacity to ensure the overlaid text remains legible.

You may rotate the border graphic through 90 or 180 degrees for use as a top or side border, to suit your design.
